Innovation Portfolio Management
The Innovation Portfolio Management tool is a software application that provides a rich overview of innovation projects in the portfolio of an R&D unit.The program gives different graphical representations of the portfolio, which allows the decision maker to benchmark the project among each other.
A funnel view gives an overview of the portfolio as the projects progress from one stage to the next.
An investment objective matrix view provides an overview of the objective of the ongoing innovation projects in relation to its parent organization.
Furthermore, the application has voting feature to facilitate collaborative decision making on go/no go investment decisions. See below for screenshots of the application
IPM was developed in collaboration with ABN AMRO Dialogues Incubator to increase the transparency inside the organisation and improve the decision making processes. The program has been implemented at the organisation since Februari 2011.
